There will also be limited spots for full immersion training, ideal for young horses or those that need foundational work. Cat specializes in starting young horses in a correct, cheerful way. Much like Kindergartens for children, foundational training should teach not only basic skills, but also instill a love of learning, working, and that "school (training)" is fun! Training proceeds at the pace determined by the horse, with a systematic, thoughtful and kind approach to create the basis for future success.
Cat believes strongly in "eyes on the ground" and regularly ships to lessons with Shannon Lilley and Mara DePuy to continue her education and keep her honest in her work!
Link came unbroke, anxious and touch sensitive. He left a happy, confident boy and is adored by his Pony Club kid!
Charlie came unbroke, scared, and still bonded to his mother. He left as a sweet, goofy lower level dressage and eventing prospect!
Herbie arrived as a rejected Amish driving horse, 300 lbs underweight and as green under saddle as can be. He has moved on to his future life as a fox-hunter, low level eventer, and best friend.
